We will always consider applications to join.  At the very least, prospective members can go on our waiting list.

As with many choirs, the men's section is in need of strengthening so there are vacancies for both tenor and bass voices, and we have a general interest in prospective new members.

In both cases, no auditions are required.  That possibly frightening challenge to joining simply does not exist.  It's up to you to grasp the challenge of singing.

If you feel you can spare 2 hours a week for 30 weeks throughout the year, and fancy a challenge, why not come and sing? It develops good breathing control, extends concentration and, more importantly in this day and age, releases stress!

Please note that for choir members who sing in our public concerts there is a requirement to wear the concert uniform, which can be seen in the photo on the home page.

We meet on Tuesdays during term time at:

All Saints School
Norrey's Avenue
from 7.45pm to 9.30pm.

There is no audition AND lots of laughter.
Do come and join us - you will receive a warm welcome.

Sing yourself to a stress-free life!

A list of members is used to manage membership of the South Berkshire Singers, and is kept and updated by our Membership secretary. The information stored includes contact details, singing section and a photo, and this is used only for managing choir membership and running choir activities.
To update your details, or have them removed in the event of leaving the choir, please contact the Membership secretary.

The current members list is available to view only as printed copy at rehearsals, and as an encrypted file as a telephone tree so that members can be contacted quickly in the event that urgent contact is required (eg cancelled meetings, programme changes).
